Once known as the world’s heaviest boy, Arya Permana weighed 190 kg at a young age.
In just a year, he made an incredible turnaround by giving up fast food and adopting a healthier lifestyle.
Arya gained international attention when he was identified as the heaviest boy globally at just 10 years old, largely due to a lack of exercise and overeating.
His rapid weight gain raised concerns about serious health risks.
To address this, Arya’s parents took him to a doctor, who recommended a strict diet of rice and vegetables.
Since Arya struggled with the diet alone, they opted for stomach-reduction surgery.
Now, Arya diligently follows a healthy diet and increased physical activity. He has halved his weight and aims to reach 63 kg.
His parents are currently raising funds for surgery to remove excess skin.
With dreams of becoming a football player, Arya is dedicated to achieving his goal.
